Opened in 1922, this nine story building was booked by Bill Graham in 1979 for Bob Dylan's gospel shows. Many great bands of the 70's and 80's played here including Elvis Costello, The Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead, The Bangles, Prince, Pearl Jam, U2, Nine Inch Nails, The Specials, The Jam and Guns 'N Roses.
