The Concord Pavilion
The Sleep Train Pavilion (formerly known as the Concord Pavilion and then the Chronicle Pavilion) is run by Bill Graham Presents which took over operations of the facility in 2000. The Pavilion has a capacity of 12,500 people.
This is another one of those Bay Area classic venues that housed so many people since it first opened including Eric Clapton, Rod Stewart and Joni Mitchell.
This is also the place that Bill Graham and two other people were leaving in October 1991 when their helicopter crashed killing all aboard.
