Former Location -

The Grateful Dead used this location as a rehearsal hall before its official opening. They appeared with Quicksilver Messenger Service, Big Brother and the Holding Company, Country Joe and the Fish and The Charlatans for the grand opening.

Many, if not all of the local bay area bands and touring shows played here in the brief four years (1966 - 1969) of it existence including; Sons of Champlin, Peter Paul & Mary, Congress of Wonders, Charlie Musselwhite, Savage Resurrection, Dan Hicks and His Hot Licks, Santana Blues Band, Clover, Granny Goose, It's A Beautiful Day, Blue Cheer and Little Richard with an All Soul Revue.
