Boz Scaggs and Huey Lewis manager Bob Brown opened this venue in 1987. While living in the area to record their album "Vs." Pearl Jam played a surprise date. David Bowie played here with Tin Machine as well as Huey Lewis and the News, Rickie Lee Jones and Dick Dale. Many live albums have been recorded here too.
