Great American Music Hall
San Francisco's oldest and grandest nightclub opened in 1907 after the 1906 earthquake. At that time it was called Blanco's.
In 1972, it became The Great American Music Hall. Van Morrison, The Grateful Dead, and Bobby McFerrin, Johnny Cash, George Clinton & Parliament-Funkadelic, Etta James, Crash Test Dummies, Jerry Jeff Walker played there.
