Dire Straits, Peter Tosh, Mountain, Todd
Saw many great acts there in the eighties, but the best was Dire Straits. They had just released "Makin Movies" and they were fantastic. Saw Todd the night of the biggest rainstorm in years to hit the North Bay, and only Todd got across the bridge before they closed the GG Bridge. So he did a solo performance that just kicked ASS. Broke an ashtray in my hand waiting for the encore, cut my hand and went backstage to get it bandaged and said hi to Todd
