A master of the drum kit, John played with Todd Rundgren, Carly Simon and may probably be best known for playing drums for Peter Frampton from 1972 to 1978. He played on the "Frampton Comes Alive" album and co-wrote Frampton's big hit "Do You Feel Like We Do."
