Live at the Harlem Square Club by Sam Cooke
In 1963 Sam Cooke recorded what is regarded as one of the greatest ever live soul performances at Harlem Square Club. It was memorialized in "Sam Cooke Live at the Harlem Square Club."

This album is monumental in the Sam Cooke legacy because it showed mainstream America a side of Sam only his core audience had known. RCA themselves didn't recognize the value of this live performance. They didn't release "Live at the Harlem Square Club" until 1985--some 22 years after it had been recorded.
