On December 12, 1970 Jim Morrison played his last concert with The Doors here before he left for Paris. He died on July 3rd of the next year and the venue closed down for good in the early 80's.

I was studying at LSU AND liked to go to the concert so there I WAS FIRST ROW just in front of him was a hell of a concert,till last night realise this was hes last.I had the leader jacket in my hans. was great.
