Also known as Mellon Arena, many large famous rock and pop acts have played here over the years including The Beatles, The Doors (parts of their album "Absolutely Live" was recorded here), The Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Queen, KISS, David Bowie, Van Halen, AC/DC, Alice Cooper, Robert Plant and Genesis.

Elvis Presley played his very last New Year's Eve show here in 1976.
