The Paley Center for Media, formerly known as both The Museum of Television & Radio and The Museum of Broadcasting, was founded in 1975 by William S. Paley of CBS.
The center contains tens of thousands of television and radio broadcasts that include some of the earliest and rarest examples of rock music history. Included in the collection are many of The Beatles and Elvis Presley's earliest performances.
