Pico and Sepulveda" was originally a 1947 song by Freddy Martin and his orchestra. It obtained cult status on the Dr. Demento radio program and was covered in 2002 by Lee Press-on and the Nails on their album "El Bando En Fuego!".

The song was also featured in the soundtrack to the underground cult film, Forbidden Zone.
