Once the center of the music industry, this building housed most of LA's influential music and PR firms in the sixties and seventies. The West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and Visitor's Information Center are also in this building.

In 1969, Jim Morrison balanced on a railing on the building while filming a scene for the movie HWY: An American Pastoral. The movie was pretty much just an experiment in film-making by Jim and some friends.
