Warren Roche, former studio trumpet player who recorded hits such as "September" by Earth, Wind and Fire, "Can't Get Enough of Your Love" by Barry White, "Car Wash" by Rose Royce, "She Used to Be My Girl" by the O.J.s, "Touch Me in the Morning" by Diana Ross, designed and built the home after he retired from the music business in 1980.

He still owns it and converted it to a B&B in Nov. 2008.
