Johnny Burnette (Mar. 25, 1934 - Aug. 1, 1964) considered to be a contemporary of Elvis Presley he worked with Buddy Holly, Buddy Knox, Johnny Horton, Bill Haley and Eddie Cochran. In 1956 he appeared as himself in the motion picture "Rock, Rock, Rock." Among his many recordings are "You're 16", Train Kept A-Rollin," "Dreamin," "Little Boy Sad," and "Mona Lisa".
